El Liverpool obtuvo su sexto título de Champions League, luego de vencer 2-0 al Tottenham en el Wanda Metropolitano de Madrid, gracias a los goles de Mohamed Salah y Divock Origi.
Apenas a los 23 segundos de juego se marcó un penal a favor de los Reds, tras una mano de Sissoko. Salah cobró y acertó para el 1-0.
